Call for Abstracts
Abstract submission deadline extended: 16 January 2026
The Organizing Committee welcomes the submission of original contributions for short oral presentations and posters at the Congress.
Abstracts must be submitted online. Submissions via e-mail will not be accepted.
Each applicant may submit only one abstract.
Abstracts must be written in English using UK English spelling in .doc/.docx format. Maximum length is 2500 characters (approx. 350 words) including blank spaces. The abstract title, the author(s) or names of institutions are not included in the count of 2500 characters.
Abstract should be structured as follows:
- Title (In Bold, no unnecessary capitalisation, no underlining and no full stop at the end),
- Full name of author(s) with academic degrees,
- Affiliation of authors (institution/company, city, country),
- In case of multiple authors / affiliations, please use index numbers in superscript (1,2,3),
- *Email address of corresponding author.
- Background: A brief statement of the purpose of the study,
- Methods: The methods used,
- Results: The results observed. It is inadequate to state. “The results will be discussed” or “The data will be presented”,
- Conclusions: The conclusions based upon the results.
- Grant support and References can also be included in the abstract. All references should be cited consecutively in the text, using numbers in square brackets, e.g. [1]. References should be listed at the end of the abstract in Vancouver style and be preceded by the relevant reference number.
If appropriate one table and/or one figure (charts, diagrams and statistical overviews uploaded as a picture) are allowed.
Accepted abstracts selected by expert reviewers will be presented as oral or poster presentations.
It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author.
Notification of acceptance
Notifications of acceptance of the abstracts will be sent to the presenting author of the abstract by the end of January 2026. Full instructions concerning the preparation and presentation of their abstract will be given at this time. All presenting authors must register to attend the conference.
Uploading abstracts is only available to logged in users. You have already created your username and password when you registered for the congress. If you cannot see the upload plugin bellow, please log in with your user profile. If you have forgotten your password, you can restore it. You can upload abstracts of up to 20MB.
